Mystery Moth

Despite the Photo title, this creature may well be a butterfly, instead of a moth--so I've included a couple other shots, to further confuse the issue. The set of the relaxed wings is similar to many moths, yet the body is not particularly fuzzy, it has a probiscus for eating, and its antanae are not frilly.

Although they may be common, I've never seen one anywhere else than the south shore of Bull Shoals Lake, on the boundry of Arkansas and Missouri. These last two were found inside my cabin, trying to get out--where-as, all the moths were on the outside, on the window, having tried to get in all night long.

I don't really know what kind of surroundings its markings are intended to blend in with, but all the triangles make for an interesting bug.
